I'll start :-)

After years of asking for scale RC stuff and not getting it I've only put one thing in the list this year, a TRX-4. This is creating some heat for me yet so far I've managed it all the way down to "well what if you don't get one?", "I'll just buy one in the new year anyway", "I was afraid you'd say that..." ::eek

In my defence I've spent far more than the cost of a couple of TRX-4's on her birthday in November and Christmas last year so this is best chance I've ever had

What's on everyone else's lists?

Honestly nothing no RC stuff or anything ::eek and to me it doesn't even feel like christmas ::doh:: but if I could have one thing it probably would be a TRX-4 aswell :-) but haven't got much £ at the moment being Christmas and having to fix the 1:1 car ::rolleye

Bless ya, Geoff. I echo that sentiment.

The best pressie I could have is some time to get out with the trucks! I reckon it's been three months plus since I even looked at them. I need to get my man-cave sorted in the new house, do a fair bit of routine maintenance on them and then get out and get muddy!!
...It all started with Tamiya, was enhanced by Axial and then fulfilled by RC4WD...

Been looking at the Gom, Im tempted just for something different really..

Probably just buy it myself than get it for a pressie if I decide to go down that route.. got my others to rebuild/fix first though

Al..

Trying to get my family moved to Germany. That's an undertaking of note and I'll be well happy when done. Deadline is Feb 15 ::eek

Xmas will be a quiet one. My boy is getting Lego, Ms. Protocol an Apple Series 3 watch. I want a camera, but doubt I'll get it.

I thought I had got xmas all sewn up early this year.
I hadn't got anything much rc planned except maybe some smaller bits for the trucks.

That was until a few weeks back & got the surprise of my garage and workshop/shed both being 3 foot deep in flood water. To make it worse it was contaminated water too.
All my rc stuff that was stored on the floor or on the lower shelf got drenched along with numerous tools and other stuff.
Some of the rc stuff is recoverable after being cleaned and disinfected but lost quite a lot of radio gear and electronics.
At least I now know what is submergible and stays water tight and that all that say waterproof really aren't.

When all the flood damage is sorted then I am going to have to look to replacing everything I have lost.
At least it might be the the excuse I needed to upgrade to brushless at last on my offroaders and rc bike.
Its better to be late in this world rather than early to the next.

Blimey laters, hopefully there’s a positive in there with the brushless...

I’m not hopeful as I’ve had a number of “what else do you want for Christmas” questions but I hope it’s a good one for everyone.

Yeah that's cool ::cool I got the Unimog about 5 years ago. Got half-dismantled and stuck in a box for our move into a bigger flat 4 years ago, and has been sitting in the bottom of my cupboard ever since. Need to dig it out and re-build it...

I've got plenty of Lego, I love the scale looks. I've got a number of sets I've built but not dismantled ::cool

I didn't get anything RC related even though my list consisted of only one thing which was the TRX4. I was told "I know you didn't get what you wanted, but when I looked at it (TRX4) it wasn't anywhere near as good as the Unimog or Defender... and I'd rather you built more models like that".

Not sure on that one... :censored:

I didnt get anything RC related but had just treated myself to a new D90 body for the G2 I bought just after the nationals and a Smiths Little torch ... I did get some cash though so I guess I can pay myself back for these and call the presents!
